  1. Dawson’s Creek (1998)

I Don’t Want To Wait by Paula Cole

Remember Dawson? Remember the creek? Haha. And when Joshua Jackson suddenly grew up (remember Mighty Ducks, yung movie, syempre?).  And when super uso ang pout way of speaking aka Katie Holmes (slash Mandy Moore the singer also). Kung Joey for a girl’s name is cute, ngayon naman Zooey na uso. #justsaying lang. When Studio 23 was the “IN” thing. Sosyal ka na pag Studio23 favorite channel mo. Haha. The series was super uso amongst us. Dahil in ka pag nakiki uso ka. And syempre yung song, sa lenguahe ng mga becky ngayon, Pak na Pak! I’m just thankful I grew up listening to great songs. Panalo ito kantahin sa videoke. Haha. Isama na ang End of the Line ng Honeyz at Buses and Trains ng Bachelor Girl. 99 ang score mo teh. Pramis, take it from me. haha. Those days. Kaloka yet masaya.

Teka, ang tanda ko na pala. Toinks.

OPRAH SITE DENIES STATEMENT ON SHAMCEY
Ayan Kasi… yesterday my FB feed was full of that Oprah statment on Shamcey, when I checked the links, there was really no NBC source so I already felt that it might not be true, just more Pinoy Pride validation bullshit. Ka-puri-puri naman talaga si Shamcey, what irks me is how easy Pinoys swallow & spread false news because of our silly need for external validation. We simply just can’t be proud on our own. someone has to win internationally & someone has to be complimented by a foreigner. On the flip side we get angry & defensive when a foreigner insults the country, never mind that we say our country is crap every single day. Sabi nga ng makatang si Gloc-9 “Pilipino lang ako pag nananlo si Paquiao”…. sorry stream of consciousness semi rant.
On a tangent article, read this
WHY WE ARE SHALLOW
“We are shallow because our media are so horribly shallow. Every morning, I peruse the papers and there is so little to read in them. It is the same with radio — all that noise, that artifice.”
It’s easy to put the blame on local media, but it’s also a mirror. Inane showbiz news will not thrive if we are more interested on the developments (or lack there of) of the Ampatuan massacre than Shamcey’s boyfriend.
I agree with many things on the article, pero sana mag effort yung mga matatalinong tao na magbahagi ng importanteng opinyon sa tabloid tulad ng Abante, otherwise sayang lang, di rin nakakarating sa nakararami. Kaya bilib na bilib na bilib ako sa Word Of The Lourd.

  5. Repost

Oprah Winfrey: “I have reservations with the results. If the only basis is the Q and A portion, after having been trimmed down to 5, Ms. Philippines deserved to win. What made her different from the rest is that she had no seconds to rethink of her answer as she had no interpreter to break the ice. The rest had their interpreters and having breaks on seconds to think about their answers. Hands down, Ms. Philippines answered straight to the point.” - via NBCNews

Very well said Miss O. Thank you for the words. Here’s my kisses for you, tsup tsup… LOL =)

On September 10, 1991 photographer Scott Tugel borrowed some Donna Karan samples for a photo shoot he was doing in NYC.

    He took this picture.

I’m sure after he took it, he thought he had gotten the perfect shot. What he couldn’t have known is that it was literally an eery…
